Detailed Description

Your photos are processed entirely on your device. No account, no upload, no analytics, no ads.

THE FIRST PASS, DONE FAST
Culling is the chore every photographer faces after every shoot: hundreds or thousands of frames, and a deadline. RawTriage is built for exactly that moment. It reads RAW files directly, lays them out in a contact-sheet grid, and puts keep, reject, star and colour-label controls under your thumb — with auto-advance, so a full card can be triaged without ever opening a menu., or another app, TiffPro lets you open it instantly with “Open with” or pick files and folders from your device.

Key Features

FREE, AND GENUINELY USEFUL
The entire cull loop is free, with no time limit and no watermark:
- Add folders from your card or device storage and scan them instantly
- Thumbnail gallery with sort, rating filter and filename search
- Detail view with pinch-zoom and fit-to-screen
- Keep / Reject, 1–5 stars, colour labels and auto-advance
- Staged delete with a one-tap undo, so a slip is never permanent
- Full EXIF panel — camera, lens, exposure, ISO and more
- Culling analytics, plus burst stacking by capture time

PRO, FOR THE WORKING PHOTOGRAPHER
RawTriage Pro adds the deep-inspection and round-trip tools that turn a cull into a finished hand-off:
- Full-resolution RAW decode and 1:1 inspection
- Side-by-side compare with synced zoom
- Export and share as JPEG, at original size or a lighter one
- Verified import from card or folder, with a per-file checksum
- XMP sidecars for Lightroom and Capture One — your ratings, flags and labels travel with the files
- Filter by camera, lens, ISO and orientation
- Inspection overlays: histogram, clipping and focus peaking

WIDE RAW SUPPORT
RawTriage opens the RAW files photographers actually shoot — Canon CR2 and CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Adobe DNG, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Pentax PEF, Samsung SRW and Fujifilm RAF — alongside the JPEGs in the same folders. Decoding is done on your device by the bundled, open-source LibRaw library.

PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE
There is no server, and nothing you do is sent to us.
- It reads only the folders you choose, through Android's Storage Access Framework — never your whole media library
- Your photos, ratings and decisions never leave your device
- GPS and EXIF data is displayed to you and nothing more
- Crash logs stay in the app's private storage and are never transmitted
- The app requests just two permissions, both for the optional Pro subscription sold through Google Play: the billing permission, and the internet access the Play Billing library requires to verify a purchase
